Brandi Rogers
Gym Manager and coach
I found CrossFit in 2009 while living in Austin, Texas. Soon after completing fundamentals and a six-week course at CrossFit Central, I moved to Madison to begin graduate school. During my first few years in Madison, my fitness took a backseat to the demands of school, which left me feeling unhealthy and unhappy. Thankfully, I found my way back and began training with a CrossFit trainer at a commercial gym in town. He taught me the basic skills and fundamental movements central to CrossFit. In 2012, I took my first class at CrossFit Sanctify, and I was instantly hooked! For me, CrossFit was the best of all worlds: strength training, gymnastics, and sport all in one!
Although I continued to train at Sanctify, my commitment and progress vacillated with the pressures of graduate school. I would make strides, only to lose ground to inconsistent attendance or injury. Finally, in 2017, I prioritized my fitness, and I committed to attending class regularly. This decision marked a turning point. Not only did my fitness, health, and confidence improve, but I discovered my passion for helping others do the same. This realignment in my priorities led to a new career in fitness and gave me renewed direction and purpose.
As a CrossFit coach, I hope to help others realize the transformative power of improved physical fitness. At CrossFit Sanctify, the combination of knowledgeable coaches, thoughtful programming, and a supportive community make it possible to do just that!
Joining Sanctify literally changed my life, and I hope to share the same life-changing opportunity with others.
