Learn the fundamentals
You do not need to be experienced in strength training, group fitness, or even CrossFit to join Sanctify. Even if you’ve never worked out in a group setting or you have little experience in the gym, our group training classes are appropriate for you.
On your first visit, in discussion with you, we will listen and learn your past experiences, desired outcomes, and potential concerns. We then make recommendations and craft an individual plan to prepare you for entrance into group training.
You will begin by working with a coach in a series of one-on-one private sessions we call “fundamentals.” With attention to your experience, goals, and comfort level, we move you through these private training sessions at a pace appropriate for you. When you complete fundamentals, both you and your coach will feel confident you have the knowledge and skills necessary to join group classes.
Everyone Benefits from Fundamentals
Although the name of these sessions “fundamentals” invokes beginner status or inexperience, we believe fundamentals sessions are valuable for every athlete, from the true novice to the CrossFit athlete with years of experience. Additionally, fundamentals sessions enable our coaching staff to get to know each athlete individually and to begin developing a personal relationship with every new member. In short, we recommend everyone begin with some fundamentals personal training sessions.
