Today is all about Lazar Dukic and honoring his memory. He was a very special person that meant a lot to everyone that knew him and competed against him. He had an infectious joy for the competition, a tremendous love for his brother, and always had a smile on his face. Today, we celebrate his life and honor his passing by completing the workout today. He was 28 years old at the day of his passing on August 8th, 2024. He was unable to complete the 800m Swim, due to heat stress as the most likely cause. We are still waiting on the exact results here, but from all those in the community this looks like the most likely scenario. Please take the 1:00 minute at the start of this WOD for silence in memory of Lazar. Then everyone gets on the rower to start the workout.

We will never forget the impact of Lazar Dukic on this community and what he represents. He was an honest fun loving human that was always seen smiling. Loved competing and loved the sport of CrossFit. He was taken too early from us and we know he will be a catalyst for change. We honor his memory today.
