Man wall walks

• Coaching Brief & Class Overview

Today’s session is all about gymnastics endurance and skill density. The focus will be on refining Toe-to-Bar cycling and Handstand Walk efficiency, with a dedicated skill session before tackling "A Working Man"—a gymnastics-heavy workout designed to challenge technical proficiency under fatigue. Athletes will close out the session with a core and bodybuilding finisher to reinforce pulling and pushing stamina.

Coaching Notes

Toe-to-Bar: Encourage consistent sets—athletes should aim to finish each set of 30 reps in under 2:30.

Handstand Walks: Focus on small, controlled segments (10ft per effort) to maintain quality and avoid excessive no-reps.

Scaling Considerations:

Toe-to-Bar: Scale to hanging knee raises or V-ups as needed.

Handstand Walks: Scale to wall walks (1 rep = 10ft) with a goal of completing each in under 1:00.

Mindset Tip: Skill work under fatigue—stay disciplined with form even as fatigue builds.
